If you've been leaning on IBIS for video work, you already know it only gets you so far — especially on longer focal lengths or when you need controlled, repeatable motion. Gimbals win on mobility and fluid handheld movement, while fluid video heads give you the locked-off precision and pan resistance serious tripod work demands. These aren't interchangeable tools: one's for run-and-gun, the other's for deliberate, controlled shooting. Worth a read if you're building out a hybrid photo/video kit and haven't committed to a support system yet.
