Sigma is expanding on two fronts simultaneously: a compact 15mm f/1.4 aimed at APS-C mirrorless shooters (E, X, and RF mounts) that weighs just 220g — genuinely pocketable for a fast wide prime — and a second-generation 35mm f/1.4 Art that signals Sigma is serious about refreshing its legendary Art lineup for modern mirrorless optical standards. The 15mm Contemporary is the more immediately interesting for working photographers: that weight and filter size suggest real portability without the usual fast-aperture tax. If the 35mm ART II delivers the optical corrections the original struggled with at wide apertures, it could reclaim its spot as the default choice over Sony's 35mm GM and Tamron's 35mm f/1.4.
