Two of China's biggest imaging tech players are headed to court, with DJI alleging Insta360 lifted patents covering core drone and image processing tech. For working photographers this is mostly industry noise unless you're heavily invested in either ecosystem — though prolonged litigation can slow product development and, in worst-case scenarios, pull products from certain markets. Worth watching if Insta360's action cameras are part of your kit, but nothing to act on yet.
